The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) supervises the Annual Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, a federally-mandated count of homeless individuals. Thousands of volunteers, partners and community service providers canvas 4,000+ square miles over a few days.  This year in greater Los Angeles, the count was held on three days, January 23, 24 and 25. Due to the January 5-8, 2025 Pacific Palisades fire no count was conducted in the Palisades community.
